About Me

My photo
Lester Ralph Blair
Wellington, New Zealand
I sold my taxi franchise April 2015 and now through God's grace I am working full time as a perceptual artist. I make paintings in a photorealist style that are based on my own photographs. My paintings show places where I have stood and felt a certain resonance, usually not grand or sublime, just the ordinary places that have some effect or memory for me. They are places which seem like a dreamscape, a reflection of another world or the remnant of a world that is passing.
