It was just the back of warehouses, a car sales, and some apartments. Not much to photograph, until I stood in the yard, and added a stop sign, car, and a baton fence. It then seemed O.K. I couldn't add much more.
. . . my photo picks from my flickr photo stream, random thoughts on photography, and now my new direction .... painting.

scooter
It was first the restaurant door, looked so strong in early morning light, I adjusted my position till the the yellow pole was right, then a scooter, it was not going to be there for long, so I pressed the shutter.

almost the past
The changes will involve this building. The façade though will probably be retained, which is nice I guess.
be happy
There may be changes coming to this corner on Tory and Vivian Streets. I am not sure if it involves this building or not. But this happy poster needs to be photographed for sure, in case it disappears. It is a bit scruffy here, but there is always something positive to see, like the way the concrete has been grooved, to go with the bird.

back yard big plant.
Back yards can be more interesting then front gardens. More real, everything laid bare. Especially when there is a big blue plant that is enclosing the house, and the lights have to be on all day.

garage, house, clothesline
It was overcast . The house seemed grey and brown. But the clothes pegs were cheerful, pink, green and yellow.

something very yellow
This photo was taken in the lull between the end of the weekend and the beginning of another week. The photo also documents the disappearing of old buildings and the beginning of new ones. But mainly for me it is a street scene made up of shapes, lines, shadows and something very yellow.

chopsticks
It had been wet all day. I had not taken any photos, too much rain to walk around. We needed to get out for a while, so we had Chicken Jhalfrazi at “Curry Heaven”. It was not yet dark so we drove to Island Bay to see the sea, I thought there may be a photo there. On the way back, the photo was here, “chopsticks takeaways”.
hanging around a bar
I didn't stay here too long, just a photo to record the old world charm, and then I walked on.
