Last weekend, my wife and I spent two nights and two days in Auckland (three actually but i don't want to post too many photos). We checked out the photography festival exhibitions and various books shops. And in between these activities, I held an umbrella in one hand and the other a camera, I took some photos to see what Auckland looked like.

buckle street, two of two views
The patch of dirt I have photographed from is fenced off, but this evening there was gap, so all alone on a vacant piece of dirt I took my photograph.
a really long view of a long photograph
buckle street, one of two views
standing in a patch of gravel (I think this will be some extra lanes for the road someday) I waited patently for a gap in the constant stream of cars, and took a photo of the scene over yonder.

Car park, 2 of 2 views
I found this place in the course of my work, and returned on a Saturday evening. I took these two photos, and that will be all this week, it was the only chance to be out.
